Tool #5

I've used delicious before and I like the fact that I don't have to bookmark on every computer. Although, I'm not an avid user of delicious. My goal is to have all my links tagged...soon.

Social bookmarking is a benefit to everyone. We could have a school/teacher/class account and tag educational links so students could make use of them from their location: math games, reading programs, etc..

Here are 2 websites I have tagged. The first link provides a galore of templates for teachers. The second link is a site for virtual manipulatives.

  1. An account for the students to use is great idea. Just think we/they wouldn't have to type in web addresses and waste all that time just trying to get started. More time on task-whoo hoo! Cool sites you found.

  2. This sounds like a great idea. I've often come accross awesome website that I've wanted to share with my students. I think that this would be a great way to do it without exposing the kids to things that might not be age appropriate.
